    Envirosafe European Wasp Trap

    Envirosafe European Wasp Trap makes our Aussie Gardens safe from aggressive European wasps. Designed to take advantage of a European wasp’s natural behaviour, the powerful bait attracts the wasp to the trap, which mimics the wasp’s preferred entry path to its nest for maximum effectiveness.

    As with all Pestrol sold products, this is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The EnviroSafe European Wasp Trap is also completely safe and won’t harm bees!!!

    How to Use

    1. Empty attractant from satchel supplied into the Envirosafe European Wasp Trap.
    2. Add 1 cup of warm water. Swirl trap to help dissolve attractant.
    3. For best results set a trap where it will receive the most sunlight and preferably where there is less wind.
    4. Attractant requires an activation period of approximately 24 hours. The temperature may have some bearing on this time.
    5. Once full, bury contents in the garden or dispose of them in a plastic bag.
    6. Repeat steps 1-4 to reset the trap.

    Important: check regularly & maintain water level. It must not dry out.

    Precautions

    Important information about European Wasps.

    1. Always fill trap indoors.
    2. Do not place a trap next to a wasp nest.
    3. Do not carry out trap maintenance during the day. Wait until early morning or late evening.
    4. Make sure all wasps are dead before opening the trap.
    5. Keep out of reach of children.
    6. If stung and the victim has difficulties (eg: breathing, severe swelling) or a wasp is swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.

    How does this EnviroSafe Pantry Moth Trap actually work?

    This trap uses a special Biolure to attract male pantry moths. Drawn to the pheromones, the moths enter the trap and get stuck on the glue board. This breaks the breeding cycle and keeps your food stores safe.

    Where is the best place to put these traps in my kitchen?

    These traps are designed for pantries and food storage areas. Place them on shelves near food items like flour, cereals, rice, and dry foods. Keep them out of direct sunlight for best results.

    How long will these traps last before I need to replace them?

    Each trap is effective for up to four months. Check regularly, and replace sooner if the glue board is full. Writing the date of setup helps track replacement.

    Hey Bert,
    The Envirosafe Eropean Wasp Trap does not use an active to kill wasps. The satchet that comes with this trap is a bait to lure them inside, once they caught in the trap they will drown in the liquid as they clamber to escape.

      Brilliant product!! I was worried about the wasps in the backyard because of my toddler, and really wanted them gone – and this worked SO quickly! Caught the first wasp within 30 seconds! Second one followed shortly after. Can’t recommend enough!!
