Utilizing a blend of wheat, sawdust, and minerals combined with a group of micro-organisms, this mix will rapidly break down any pet waste into nutrient-rich soil!
Made in Australia, these all-natural micro-organisms include lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, photosynthetic bacteria, actinomycetes, and fungi. This all combined will accelerate the breakdown of pet waste eliminates the smell left over, and also helps to remediate any pathogens in your pet waste, which in turn will contribute to healthier soil and a more beautiful garden!
The 4kg variant of this product is stored inside a hessian sack, which is also compostable! Once the mix is used, you can cut the bag into smaller pieces and add them to the EnsoPet Composter! Alternatively, you may also find it useful as mulch, or to be used if you’re germinating seeds, or as a worm farm blanket!

Hey Tracey,
When stored away in an air tight container, EnsoPet Start Mix - 4kg can last upwards of two years! This composting mix has added micro-organisms included throughout, when opened they will start to activate, but our supplier at Bokashi recommends that they'll remain dormant when stored in an air tight container.
