Description

Electronic Bird Repeller

Electronic Bird Repeller is a humane, no chemicals, environmentally friendly, maintenance-free and cost-effective answer to “how to keep birds away”

The new Electronic Bird Repeller repels birds using ultrasonic sounds generated from the units and using a strobe light. A further optional audible setting is available if required.

With sound waves from 15kHz – 25kHz

  • Electronic Bird Deterrent emits an ultrasonic sound (inaudible to most humans)
  • Adjustable settings to change frequency.
  • Uses 9v / 240V AC transformer supplied
  • Weather-resistant
  • Environmentally friendly.

The effective range is up to 15 metres through to 170 degrees.

The primary feature of the device is the ultrasonic signal.  This is a high-pressure sound that is only slightly audible to humans.  However, it is very effective at startling and scaring away unwanted birds.  Using a variable pulse generator, the ultrasonic emits a range of fluctuating sound waves to prevent the pest from becoming accustomed to the sound.

The Electronic Bird Repeller operates continuously and can use the built-in motion sensor that activates the unit when animals move into its coverage area. This area size is 24 x 15 metres = 360M2. You can change the setting to be on continuously to aid in controlling smaller animals like rodents and birds.

Features

In total there are 3 mode settings –

Motion Sensor:  The Motion Sensor will activate the ultrasonic and sonic sounds when it detects the pests are in range.

Constant: The Constant setting will activate the ultrasonic and sonic noises and cycle through them at the range you fix at varying intervals.  The motion detector will deactivate on this setting.

Continuous Sweep:  The Continuous Sweep will randomly activate a range of sonic and ultrasonic frequencies.  The motion detector will deactivate on this setting.  This helps repel several different types of pests.

The Electronic Bird Repeller can be placed:

  • around the yard
  • garden
  • ceiling cavity
  • under eaves
  • campsite
  • garage
  • carport
  • workshops
  • porch
  • patio
  • balcony
  • greenhouses
  • pond
  • barn
  • rooftops
  • food storage.

The waterproof control box comes with a remote control, fixings, 9v transformer with Australian (SAA / c-tick) plug.

Battery Option

The Pestrol Electronic Bird Repeller is designed for convenience and flexibility and is able to be powered with 4 x C cell batteries (not included) to ensure it can be placed wherever needed without reliance on mains power. Battery usage efficiency varies based on the operational settings chosen and the frequency of activation by the motion sensor. Under typical conditions, the batteries are expected to provide power to the unit for a duration ranging from 4 to 12 weeks. This variability accounts for the natural fluctuations in pest activity and the corresponding response of the device. We recommend monitoring the device’s performance and adjusting its settings or placement as necessary to optimize battery life and effectiveness.

The unit is wall mountable and comes with screws and fasteners for this purpose if required.

With hundreds of Electronic Bird Repellers sold Australia-wide already – order today and, as always, receive a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Also effective against;

  • Possums
  • Cats
  • Dogs
  • Rodents
  • Intruders

Hi, how often would I have keep the unit on if I want to keep birds constantly off my property? And is it safe to have the unit on 24/7? Steph asked on 16 December 2024

Hey Steph,
Set the Electronic Bird Repeller to motion sensor, and leave it in an area that has a clear line of sight to the areas of the property that you wish to scare the birds away from. The unit is safe to run 24/7, though typically, birds are going to be more active during the day then they would be at night, so you could set the operation time of the device to Day.

Carl answered on 19 December 2024 store manager

To keep birds consistently off your property, we recommend leaving the Electronic Bird Repeller on continuously for constant deterrence if using electricity or setting it to motion-activated mode if battery-operated. It is completely safe to operate the unit 24/7, as it is designed for continuous use and is energy-efficient, ensuring reliable performance without safety concerns.

Will the ultrasonic frequencies penetrate a tin roof? Justin asked on 11 December 2024

Hey Justin,
The Electronic Bird Repeller is a sound based deterrent, physical obstructions in it's path will dampen the effect that the unit has on birds.

Can you use this product outside with still having a pet dog, sleeping inside the house will it affect my dog? Nathan Scott asked on 21 November 2024

Hey Nathan,
It would be unlikely that your dog would hear the ultrasonic from the Electronic Bird Repeller if it's sleep inside, this being said, every dog is different and some have much more accute hearing than others, if you find that the unit is bothering your dog, you can always return this under our 30-day moneyback guarantee!

If placed in a 3m x 5m shed, can the range be confined so that it doesn't extend beyond the range of the shed? Michelle asked on 26 October 2024

Hey Michelle,
The Electronic Bird Repeller has an effective range of 15m with it's PIR sensor, but there is no way to lower the range on the sensor. If it's placed in a closed shed, the PIR would only be effective within that room, if it's an open shed, then it might extend past the boundries of the shed.

  2. Well works well about birds that stoped drop wast on my 2 cars, as also a neighbour was interested I told him to get 1 but he seems stingy to spend a little fee, as he seen mine works well, I’ll recommend it to others to, great for a little instrument 🥁 😊😊😊😊

  5. Sounds good. I have a problem with Cockatoos eating my wooden eaves on the 2 story house. Are they repelled by the sound, and would it work mounted about 15 mtrs below the battleground?

  6. Thought it was a waste of time at first, but once I worked out the settings from the very disorganized and poor english manual, it seemed better. Now after a few weeks it’s great, even keep away most of the peewees, and surprisingly much less ghecko poo arond the joint too.
Needed to relax and give it time for the birds to understand I mean business. Order was promptly delivered too, so well done Pestrol.

  7. Worked amazingly for the first couple of weeks, now we are back to party time for the ducks in and around our pool. I will try it again around our fruit trees in spring to see if it works on the other flying vermin.

  8. I am shocked and surprised that this product really works! It was a last non lethal resort to deter blackbirds from fossicking about in my newly planted landscaping and the resulting destruction. Now they barely come into the garden and leave quick sticks once her sensor activates. Unit does chew through batteries but it’s worth it

  9. Recommend this product highly. We had a bird problem, sparrows, nesting in our farm shed/garage ,creating an almighty mess.Within a few days we only had a couple of sparrows still nesting, once the young had grown they were gone as well.None have returned for several weeks.Turn the sound up and the birds in the open machinery shed next door left as well. worth the price.
