DT Brown Carrot All Year Seeds

This gorgeous Carrot variety produces long pointy roots and can be harvested throughout the year. One of the most delicious carrots, it has a great flavour. Grow this vibrantly coloured variety with the DT Brown Carrot All Year Seeds. It needs rich, un-manured soil free from stones or pebbles and open areas to grow well.

How to grow

Make sure garden bed is cleared before planting. Sow these seeds thinly about 6mm deep in rows 30cm apart from one another. Keep the plant well watered. Repeat this process every two weeks for continuous crops. Thin them out to 10cm apart and water them well to replace any soil dislodged from the roots. Plant them between Winter and Autumn and harvest year long. Grow them in a sunny position in soil that is well cultivated and well drained. Make sure soil is lacking in nutrients as too much of certain nutrients will result in forked carrots.
