Like other varieties of beetroot, Forono Beetroot performs best in cooler temperatures and can withstand light frost. Beetroot seeds can be sown in the spring for an early summer harvest or in late summer for a fall harvest. For the best germination, soak seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours prior to sowing. Harvest in 60 days.

All first lot of seeds (8) germinated fine after soaking overnight and I ended up with 14 seedlings as these seeds are multi-germed, so bonus :-)) Am just about to put in 2nd lot as I plant 8 x 3 weeks apart.
