The DT Brown Basil Seeds grow a sweet variety of Basil. This versatile herb will add an extra layer of taste to every Pizza and Pasta dish! Easy to grow, fragrant and delicious, this herb can be grown indoors and outdoors. They need a lot of light and are best sown lightly onto the soil. Can provide harvest all year long (except in really cold climate).

How to grow

For direct sowing into the garden bed, sow seeds in drills and thin them out to 12in apart. Basil thrives in rich, well-drained soil and a warm, sheltered spot. For potted or indoor growing, sow seeds 0.25in deep, preferably in separate peat pots to avoid any root disturbance. Plant out from late October, spacing them 12in apart. Sow all year round to grow in pots on the windowsill.
