Darlac Pocket Chain Saw

The Darlac Pocket Chain Saw is a compact and handy wood cutting tool designed to make your hiking life a lot easier. From the straightforward and simple (but functional) design to the easy storage, it’s certainly an excellent addition to any backpacker’s trail maintenance tools.

For ground-level work, attach a handle (included) to each end and pull back and forth with slow, steady strokes. Throw the weighted rope over the limb first, then pull up the chainsaw for rapid growth. The “True guide” will automatically place the teeth on the branch in the proper cutting position. Using both ropes saw, as usual. A bare minimum of excavation is required for root pruning.
