The key active ingredient in Croaked is a nifty chemical called eugenol, commonly used in perfumes and as a food flavouring agent. Eugenol naturally occurs in clove oil and bay leaves – stuff your grandparents probably used to fight toothache before they had easy access to dentists and over-the-counter analgesics. Wonderful, love this stuff
Great- toads appear comfortable but slowly get sleepier, as omg as you don’t accidentally spray it in their eyes. Take a bit more spray than I thought it would. And you need to trap them while they’re getting sleepy. However I will definitely buy again, it is effective and humane.
Worked well. Took a little longer than stated in couple of cases but toads begone. If you can just find a way to collect them after that would be great ? I don’t like killing things, not the toads fault so relief to get something like this for my dogs safety.
Worked just as it should. Toad did hop away when sprayed but not too far! Have recommended to my neighbours. Very happy with my purchase.
Very effective and humane
Fast acting, the bigger toads I haven’t had to spray twice yet however they take longer to go to sleep. Most importantly, the toads don’t look distressed after being sprayed. I know they kill a lot of native wildlife (hence why I’m killing them) but it’s not their fault they’re in Australia, I don’t want them to suffer if they don’t need to, so I’m quite happy with this product 🙂
