Formerly known as Confidor, this spray works 2 fold, by treating the plant systemically, absorbing into the plant rendering it toxic to insects that feed on the plant tissue, and also on contact with insects!

Use as a systemic pest preventer that targets sucking insects and for the systemic control of insect pests on flowers, shrubs, trees, fruit trees, and vegetables in the home garden!

Controls aphids, mealy bugs, scale, thrips, whitefly, and other sucking insects on ornamentals, roses, and vegetables. Contendor belongs to a new chemical group, so it is excellent to use in a spray program with other insecticides, as it controls pests resistant to older formulations.

How does it work?

  • These pests ingest the chemical when they suck the plant’s sap, effectively controlling infestations.
• Contact Action:
  • In addition to systemic control, the product also has contact action, meaning pests that come into direct contact with the spray are affected immediately.
