How do I measure the required amount of fertilizer to apply to my plants? phillip shegog asked on 15 September 2024

Hey Phillip,
Brunnings All Purpose NPK Fertiliser is measured off grams per square metre.

For Vegetables & Outdoor flowers, spread 25-50g per square metre at planting time. Repeat every 2-3 months. use the higher rate for poor soils or fast-growing crops.

For Outdoor shrubs and trees, spread 25-50g per square metre in early Spring. Do not apply closer than 30cm from the trunk. Repeat every 2-3 months.

For Indoor & Outdoor Potted Plants or Ferns, use 5g per 25cm pot or 10g per 40cm pot, but use half these amounts for palms. Do not use on African Violets. Apply only around outer edge of pot, not close to trunk. Repeat application every 2-3 months
