    I have a qld blue couch lawn that has now got carpet grass and paspalum following floods. Will this Apparent MCPA kill the carpet grass without killing my blue couch? Steven Biles asked on 10 February 2025

Additionally, it is primarily used for broadleaf weed control in pastures, cereals, and other crops, not for grassy weeds in lawn.

    For controlling carpet grass and paspalum in a Queensland Blue Couch lawn, you should consider using a selective grass herbicide. However, many herbicides, including DSMA, are not recommended for use on Queensland Blue Couch as they can cause severe injury. Non-selective herbicides like glyphosate can be used carefully for spot treatment of paspalum, but they will kill all vegetation they contact, so they must be applied with caution
