For controlling carpet grass and paspalum in a Queensland Blue Couch lawn, you should consider using a selective grass herbicide. However, many herbicides, including DSMA, are not recommended for use on Queensland Blue Couch as they can cause severe injury. Non-selective herbicides like glyphosate can be used carefully for spot treatment of paspalum, but they will kill all vegetation they contact, so they must be applied with caution
