Boracol 200RH – 5L
Boracol 200RH, a robust and effective treatment from Osmose designed to protect and preserve your timber against fungal decay and insect attacks. This clear, faintly sweet-smelling liquid solution is crafted to offer both preventative care for new timber and remedial action for already affected woodwork. Ideal for application on timber, as well as masonry, brickwork, and concrete that have been exposed to decayed wood, Boracol 200RH stands as a guardian against degradation.
The use of Boracol 200 will help to stop decay that has already started but hasn’t progressed far enough to significantly degrade the structure of the wood. It will also help to prevent decay by wood-destroying fungus. It can also be used as a remedial treatment where the timber is being attacked by wood-destroying borers such as lyctids, anobiids, and termites.
Its innovative solvent solution allows the product to diffuse into the wood when moisture is present. The active components can migrate from the surface of the wood to places where fungal attacks may develop due to higher moisture content.
However, timber treated with Boracol 200 does not comply with the penetration requirements of Australian Standard AS1604 – Specification for preservative treatment.

Application Instructions:
Boracol 200RH is versatile and can be applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer. For enhanced penetration into very dry timber, pre-wetting the surface is advisable. For dense application needs, a two-coat system with an interval of 2 to 3 hours is recommended. When used as a maintenance treatment, injection into pre-drilled holes ensures deep, even distribution, safeguarded with tamper-proof plugs for future inspections.
