Avisil Bird Spike Adhesive is a specialist clear silicone neutral adhesive researched for bird spikes on to all usual building surfaces (including glass).
Other silicone adhesives contain solvents that leach out of the silicone bead, over time, causing shrinkage which degrades the joint.
The Bird Spike Adhesive has good weather resistance for temperatures of -60°C to +180°C.
One tube of 310ml is sufficient to install up to 15 metres of the bird spikes.
AVISIL Adhesive is suitable for all the different types of bird spikes. Including all polycarbonate,
AVIPOINT or PAA range of stainless steel bird spikes.
AVISIL is a clear, high quality, neutral curing silicone adhesive for use with all types of bird spikes.

Hey Mary,
To remove Avisil Bird Spike Adhesive from a timber fence:
1. Scrape off excess adhesive with a plastic scraper.
2. Apply a silicone adhesive remover or mineral spirits to break down the residue (test on a small area first).
3. Scrub gently with a soft brush or sponge, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
This ensures effective removal while protecting the timber.

Easy to use with a caulking gun and no issues sticking the spikes on diagonal metal beams. Had enough to do 10m of spikes with adhesive left over.

Followed all the directions however this product did not work at sticking the bird spikes to the fence.
Extremely sticky. Works well.
FYI – this requires a glue gun to apply.
