I actually used this to lay on the ground to prevent my dog from digging in a patch of dirt, as I am trying to get that patch to grow grass again. Went down after a couple of weeks, and small sections from the edges have broken off. It is not particularly strong.

It does the job but it would be better if you manufactured these in “sections” rather than on a roll. Only reason is, once you unroll it it doesn’t lay flat. Just set your line up to cut the lengths shorter. It may be cheaper to ship too.

awesome product works well on cats and chooks
Deployed to deter possums from jumping on to a tree, by winding the matting around the lower branches. This works well until the possum pack have a committee meeting and try another way. I then redecorate the tree with the matting and it then takes 2-3 days for them to find another way. Seems to be just the one possum; fewer leaves being eaten so that is a win.
