Animal Pool Lifesaver - Small Animal Ramp
Hey Jay,
The Animal Pool Lifesaver Ramp uses a weight on the end of the product to keep the ramp at one edge of the pool, it doesn't attach to anything. For an above ground pool, you may be able to hang the weight off the side, but depending on the water level, it might make the ramp a bit too steep of an incline for some animals.

You wouldn't need to add anything special to the pouch on the Animal Pool Lifesaver, just something heavy enough to help anchor the float to the side of the pool so it doesn't drift away when the animal is trying to climb up the ramp.
You could fill the pouch with Rice, that will usually give it enough weight to keep it stationary.
