    General Guidelines

    • Soak soil thoroughly before applying fertiliser.
    • Apply evenly, avoiding direct contact with plants.
    • Water in well after application.
    • As a guide:
      • One adult handful holds about 100g.
      • One cupful holds about 200g.

    Application Rates

    • Vegetables & Flowers: Apply 100g per square metre before planting and mix into the soil. Reapply every 4 weeks during the growing season.
    • Trees & Shrubs: Apply 100g per square metre before planting and mix into the soil. For established plants, apply 100g under the drip line, ensuring it is at least 10 cm away from the trunk. Reapply every 4 to 6 weeks.
    • Roses & Palms: Apply 100g per square metre before planting and mix into the soil. For established plants, apply 100g under the drip line. Reapply every 4 to 6 weeks for roses and every 6 to 8 weeks for palms.
    • Australian Natives: Apply 50g per square metre before planting and mix into the soil. For established plants, apply 50g under the drip line. Reapply every 4 to 6 weeks.
