Best live catch rat trap for rats. Attach to sheet plywood bit bigger. Feed oats on trip plate and a licorice allsorts on plate. Mice can squeeze out. Rats will not escape once the door drops.
Started catching rats straight away; five rats in a week. The trap sets off very easily and trips over in the wind.
worked well
A good looking trap but quite difficult to set. Rather fiddly to get the wires in alignment and then place trap where needed. Once set up the trap worked well
This is a gun rat trap, with some minor modifications. The first night I used it, I caught one. That said, it escaped due to a gap between the cage top and the sliding door locking spring. I simply pop riveted two bits of aluminium either side of the lock to close the gap. Pretty much every time I use it, it catches a rat. I’m shocked at the number of rats there must be in our area. Best bate is peanut butter with a small portion of stale biscuit stuck in it.
Caught the rat!
I haven’t caught a rat yet but the
Trap looks strong and sensitive so I’m hoping for some luck
