Bugz Off Mosquito & Midge Killer by Superway is designed for use on turf and ornamental plants and does not specifically mention any restrictions regarding artificial turf. However, since artificial turf surfaces differ from natural lawns, it's best to test a small area first to ensure no staining or unwanted effects occur. Always follow the label instructions for safe and effective use

Hi there, we live on 30 acres and it’s almost impossible to sit outside this time of the year without getting swarmed by flies. Is there something I can spray on outdoor furniture that we sit on to keep flies away? Debra McDonald asked on 14 January 2024

Hey Debra,
You would want to avoid spraying Bugz Off Mosquito & Midge or other pesticides directly on your furniture. For a situation like yours we would recommend our Ultra Pyrethrin Spray.

Rather than spraying the furniture directly, you would switch one of these dispenser for about a minute before you're going outside to let some of the fine mist spread in the outdoor space, then when heading back in, switch the unit off to keep the can going longer.

Hi - just wondering if there is a difference between the various garden spray products for mosquitos that you sell? They seem to be the same active ingredient and concentration. Would you recommend one over the other? Emma asked on 30 December 2023

Hey Emma,
Within the Superway range, while a couple of different products use the same active ingredient (In the case of Bugz Off Mosquito & Midge Killer, Bifenthrin) some would be solvent based, while others are water based solutions. The key difference between the two would be Solvent based solutions are more used in outdoor settings, while water based solutions can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Without knowning which other products you were looking at, it's a bit difficult to suggest one of another, for more in depth advice, I would recommend contacting us at [email protected], or calling us on 1800 33 88 88!

Is Superway Bugz Off Mosquito & Midge Killer safe for dogs once dry? Jessica Warr asked on 7 December 2023

Yes! Once the solution has dried, and when applied following the instructions on the label, Bugz Off Mosquito & Midge Killer by Superway would be safe for dogs. When treating for Mosquitoes & Midges, our supplier recommends to spray your garden beds, hedges and other plant at dusk, that way the solution will still be wet for when these insects are most active, but will allow it enough time to dry so your dogs can get back outside for the day!
