Nemesis Termite Bait
For effective control of Termites, use Nemesis Termite Bait alongside one of the Nemesis Bait Stations for easy monitoring of termite infestations!
This product is purely a Termite Monitoring System. This will not stop or control a full termite infestation but rather give you early detection of a possible problem. Pestrol always recommends seeking the expert advice of your local Termite Pest Control Professional.
Using the insect growth regulator (IGR) Chlorfluazuron as the active constituent will inhibit the ability of the individual termites to synthesize chitin, and to entice the termites this bait uses a highly palatable cellulose-based material.
As termites grow and develop, they need to shed their skin, or exoskeleton (a process called molting), after which it starts to reform. It is toughened up by chitin which the termite produces. This chitinous exoskeleton is needed for protection against shock, bumps, abrasions, and the effects of desiccation (loss of body moisture). The insect growth regulator in the bait affects the worker termites when they shed their chitin-based exoskeletons. The IGR also affects their chitin-lined digestive system, making the absorption of nutrients difficult.
How to Use
Only use non-chlorinated bottled water for mixing, and is recommended to keep the water warm by leaving bottles in direct sunlight. Termites can be repelled by cold water. Nemesis recommends adding water into the resealable bag before inserting it into the bait station.
Mix the bait until a uniform consistency is obtained, as per label instructions. The amount of water used can be varied depending on the situation and the time of year. In high-temperature situations, more moisture is required, but in low-temperature situations, less water must be added. We strongly recommend that between 50 to 100ml of water be used in cold weather, to ensure that the bait mixture does not become a batter or a dough
Once the bait is prepared, simply add it to either an inground bait station or above ground station!
