This easy to grow, hardy variety is one of the most widely grown varieties of Lettuce. The delicious and reliable Iceberg Lettuce is tightly packed, sweet and crisp. Iceberg Lettuce is fast-growing and can be planted indoors for harvest all year or outdoors in slightly cooler growing conditions. Make sure the soil is well-prepped. How to grow
Sow seeds indoors from the middle of winter or directly sow them in the garden after frost season has passed and once again after summer has gotten less hot. This plant prefers cooler growing weather conditions as heat causes the plant to bolt. Plant between spring and autumn and harvest in 10-12 weeks from planting.
