Selleys Araldite Super Strength Epoxy Adhesive

Ideal for stacking heavy loads, the Selleys Araldite Super Strength Epoxy Adhesive is a 2-part, multi-purpose adhesive that is easy to use. The chemical reaction makes this glue stronger than others on the market.

Features:

Usage:

• Repairing areas that bear a load.
• Fixing tools.
• Furniture.
• Bonds aluminium sheets.
• Repairing boat areas, nothing that will constantly be in contact with water.
• Fixing Sports equipment.
• Used to fix fibreglass together.
• Affixing metal into concrete.
• Temperature above 80°C weaken the bond but it is regained once the temperature drops.
• Any cured product can be made more pliable with heat and scraped off for removal.
• Clamp or tape up for a stronger bond.
• Smaller quantities will allow for flexibility in working times. Large quantities will cure faster.
• For the tube variant, use the correct cap for the correct tube. An incorrect cap will cause the product to harden in the tube.
• For any repositioning, the product will need to be reheated. Make sure the surface is heat resistant, heat up to 150°C in an oven. Once the product seems softer, reposition and let cool. The product will cure again once it reaches room temperature.
• In colder weather, a longer bonding time may work best.
• Replace cap immediately after use so that product does not dry out.

How to use:

Tubes:

1. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
2. Break the seal for each tube with the spike on top of the cap.
3. Thoroughly mix both parts in equal quantities. Leave it for 5 minutes and mix again before use. Post mixing, it can be used for 1 hour at a temperature of 20°C.
4. Put the mixed component on both surfaces to be put together.
5. Bring them together and apply slight pressure.
6. Make sure that no unnecessary strain is applied on the surfaces for 6-8 hours. Use tape or clamps if required. For maximum strength, allow 24-72 hours.
7. Clean any unused product with acetone and replace the cap.

Syringe Nozzle:

1. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
2. Remove the plunger cap and make sure to cut the seal at the tip carefully.
3. Dispense liquid onto a clean surface and thoroughly mix both parts in equal quantities. Leave it for 5 minutes and mix again before use. Post mixing, it can be used for 1 hour at a temperature of 20°C.
4. Put the mixed component on both surfaces to be put together.
5. Bring them together and apply slight pressure.
6. Make sure that no unnecessary strain is applied on the surfaces for at least 10 minutes. Use tape or clamps if required. For maximum strength, allow 24-72 hours.
7. Clean any unused product with acetone and replace the cap.
