Setup time is about 5 minutes.

Hey Vicki,
You wouldn't need to add anything special to the pouch on the Animal Pool Lifesaver, just something heavy enough to help anchor the float to the side of the pool so it doesn't drift away when the animal is trying to climb up the ramp.
You could fill the pouch with Rice, that will usually give it enough weight to keep it stationary.

I bought the Frog Log to save the masses of insects that end up in the pool. They were climbing out onto this on the first day. I’m always finding beetles and bugs on it. It would help lizards, too. A duck even used it one day (to get in.)
