This Nesting Box is ideal for larger owls such as the Powerful Owl, the Sooty Owl and the Masked Owl, with a horizontal entrance spout that allows easy access for the owls. Our Nest Boxes are made from Marine grade ply which is strong enough to deal with the weather and elements of the great outdoors. Assembly is simple All you’ll need is a screwdriver and a ladder to hang the box 4-6 metres off the ground!
Our nesting boxes come flat packed to keep the postage cost down, basic assembly is required. Simple to put together, all you’ll need is a screwdriver (preferably powered)!

I am very impressed with how solid it is. I still have to get in a tree climber to get it mounted. I would have liked to see some instructions with the flat pack. I did not have any trouble, (but I have had a lot of practice at carpentry) but many others may struggle. Some suggestions for an instruction sheet:
Preferred order to assemble,
Suggested weatherproofing techniques,
Comments on insulation,
Alternative methods of mounting on a tree,
Use of polycarbonate to deter possums.
This would only need a single sheet in the flat pack.
I am going to mount some twigs inside the box, using PVC pipe saddles, to give the chicks some climbing exercise (I hope that this is a good idea).
Thank you for your reply to my previous query. I have tried to find the reference about using a garden hose as a stretchable support. I can’t find it but will send it to you if I do.
