This product works! Was having issues with rats in my roof. I could still hear them scratching around. In a very short time the scratching stopped. So far so good. Definitely worth a try ?
We already had a few Pestrol rodent free plug-ins around the house, but after having a split system fitted and a hole left for rodents to get into the cavity wall we decided to get more when we heard scratching noises. Very happy that we were able to solve the issue without any poisoning.
We are very happy with the Pestrol rodent free. We had mice in the roof and ever since plugging in this product, the mice have gone.

Pestrol NOT rodent free
In October of 2021 I purchased Petrol’s rodent free repeller’s after we started to notice rats/mice infiltrating our 4 bedroom home.
It’s also worth noting that I also had a pest control expert come out to my home and strategically place rat bait in several locations around my home a few days prior to myself looking into Pestrol’s product offerings.
I wanted something that would work as a preventative solution rather than having to go along with the cycle of laying rat bait after noticing a infestation, so Pestrol seemed like a great solution according to their website.
So as suggested by their website I purchased 3 units which should provide adequate coverage for a house of our size.
The products themselves took almost a month to arrive which although disappointing, I was just happy to have finally received the product so we could start living pest free asap.
On initial use of the products I noticed that they make an audible clicking/high pitch sound, which I thought was strange because Pestrol says that the technology it uses cannot be heard by humans.
I’m not sure if this is a fault of the product, but either way if the product worked as described this would be a small price to pay, and eventually the sound just blended into the background white noise anyway.
According to Pestrol it can take 7-10 days for the device to repel mice/rats, but in our experience this was NOT the case, It wasn’t until over a month before we stopped noticing signs of rodent’s in the house.
I was sceptical whether it was Pestrol’s products that had helped with the decrease of rodent activity, as the timeframe lined up with how long the rat baits are supposed to take effect according to the pest control expert I used, as these baits are slow release and dehydrate rodents so they flee your property in search of water (so they don’t die in your home).
It’s now been 4-5 months since installing Pestrol’s rodent free solution, and once again for the last 3 weeks we have rodents infiltrating our home.
The only thing that’s changed is that we no longer have any rat baits left around the home and coincidentally that’s when the mice/rats have returned.
So I’m pretty confident in saying that it was the rat baits that initially got rid of the rodents and NOT Pestrol’s products.
I’m now left with three fancy flashing lights worth $337 that clearly do absolutely NOTHING to repel rodents like Pestrol advertises, and still no solution on how to help solve my rodent problem.
If Pestrol stands by the quality and effectiveness of their products, I welcome the opportunity for a representative of Pestrol to contact me in regards to a possible solution for my particular predicament, as I believe excellent customer service is just as important as providing quality products that work as advertised.
Any help from Pestrol would be highly appreciated, and I will update my future interactions with the company on this review.

They don’t work. We have the same rat activity now as we had before, even close to the devices(???) That’s $337 I won’t see again, best to keep your money in your pocket.

Fantastic product. We have been using this product for over a year now and found it really does work. We were living in a shed prior to building our house and the mezzanine was a haven for mice & rats. Since installing the Pestrol device it is Rodent free. We have now installed them in our house. Definitely worth the money.
Still not sure weather this product works efficiently as I have installed these and I still have vermin activity in my roof space

I have not noticed any cockroaches around the house as yet, but it being colder I feel I should wait for summer before I can say the products are working well. They are all plugged in and working.
